Something for the thirteen-year-olds
A mitzvah party is two parties in one room: the adults at the tables, and forty thirteen-year-olds with an hour to fill before dinner.
How a mitzvah booking runs
This is for the second group. It runs outside the room on free play, needs no MC time, and absorbs the stretch between the ceremony and the dancing.
Venue lots, hotel entrance lots and home setups all work. If it is a venue, ask them about a certificate of insurance early.
- No spot on the timeline
- It does not need an announcement. It is simply there for whoever wants it.
- Handles a big teen list
- Four machines keep a line of thirty moving.
- Venues want paperwork
- Hotels and event venues almost always want a COI. Raise it when you ask.
- Setting up
- Hotel entrance lots, venue lots, temple parking and home driveways. 18 feet of length, 10 of clearance, firm level ground.
Four steps, and we do most of them.

Does it work at a venue?
Yes. Hotel entrance lots, venue lots and temple parking all work. The venue will usually want a certificate of insurance, so raise it when you ask.
Will it interrupt the program?
No. It runs on free play outside the room and needs no MC time, so guests use it whenever they want a break from the tables.
How many guests can it handle?
Four games run at once and a game lasts about a minute, so a big teenage guest list keeps moving instead of stalling.
