01
Birthday Parties
They have done the bounce house. They have done the trampoline park. Almost nobody has had four arcade hoops pull up outside the house.
02
Corporate Events
Most company activities ask people to volunteer, in front of colleagues, to do something. This one asks nothing. You pick up a ball and shoot.
03
School Events
A blacktop is close to the perfect setup: flat, huge, already fenced, and full of people who will queue for something without being asked twice.
04
Church Events
Church lots are among the easiest setups we do: flat, wide, gated on the weekend, with power and restrooms already there.
05
Graduation Parties
Every grad party in LA lands on the same three weekends in May and June. The ones people stay at are the ones with something to do.
06
Holiday Parties
The company holiday party is a room, a buffet and ninety minutes of standing. The family one has the cousins on their phones. Same problem.
07
Trade Shows & Activations
Everything on a show floor competes for one thing: a reason to stop walking. A game lasts a minute, so people commit easily, and a line at your booth is the strongest signal on a floor.
08
Block Parties & HOA Events
A block party lives or dies on whether people leave their houses. Tables on a closed street are not always enough. This usually is.
09
Bar & Bat Mitzvahs
A mitzvah party is two parties in one room: the adults at the tables, and forty thirteen-year-olds with an hour to fill before dinner.
10
Team Parties & Banquets
The end-of-season party has a bad default: a rented room, a slideshow, and trophies handed to kids who want to be somewhere else.
11
Grand Openings
A grand opening has one job: get people who were going to drive past to stop. Balloons do not do that anymore. A line of people shooting hoops does.
12
Fundraisers & Carnivals
The hard part of a carnival is never the attractions. It is finding volunteers to staff them.
Wherever the event is
Each city page covers what the setup usually looks like there: the ground, the access, and the thing that trips people up.
